Dr. Taylor Parker
Dr. Parker joined Oral Surgery Kansas in 2023.
A northeast Kansas native, Taylor Parker was raised in a country home outside of Lawrence. He’s an alumnus of Lawrence High School where he played football and basketball, and he went on to attend Johnson County Community College and Baker University on basketball scholarships. With a long-standing interest in medicine and military service he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry on a Navy scholarship.
Dr. Parker’s 10-year Navy career consisted of a one-year General Practice Residency, a general dentistry operational tour in Diego Garcia, a British Island. He then completed four years of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD). The conclusion of this training brought about another operational tour on the USS Roosevelt to the South China Sea, and three years practicing broad-scope OMS. This lead to Level 1 facial trauma coverage, as an attending maxillofacial surgeon at his place of training in San Diego.
Dr. Parker is happily married to Aubrey (Clair) Parker. They have three boys – Maverick, Wilder, & Jackson – and the family is excited to pursue life at home in Kansas with the grandparents. The Parkers are an active crew and they enjoy sports and the outdoors.
