Phillip J. Harvey, DDS, PA

Dr. Harvey is the oldest of eight children. He graduated from Perry-Lecompton High School in 1996 as their student athlete of the year. He matriculated to MidAmerica Nazarene University, majoring in chemistry, while earning ROTC, football and baseball scholarships. Phillip and his wife, Kim, met there and were married in 2000. Kim earned her BSN from MidAmerica University in 2001. Dr. Phillip Harvey graduated Magna Cum Laude from UMKC Dental School in 2005. Upon graduation, he was accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center at Lackland AFB, Texas.

As a side bar, Dr. Phillip Harvey’s Chief Resident at that time was Dr. Brendan Farrell, who additionally, had been selected for training by Dr. Jeffery Armstrong while he served as Director of Air Force Oral Surgery. Coincidentally, Dr. Joseph Harvey preceded Dr. Armstrong in Oral Surgery training at David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, California. These strong, enduring ties provide Oral Surgery Kansas with a powerful foundation in superlative patient care.

Phillip completed his USAF obligation as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and staff Oral Surgeon AEGD at Sheppard AFB, Texas. Phillip and Kim have five children; William, Isabelle, Jack, Max, and Marienne. They live in the country just south of Lawrence and enjoy sports and everything outdoors.
