Jeffery W. Armstrong DDS, PA
Dr. Armstrong joined Oral Surgery Kansas in the summer of 2003 following his retirement from the United States Air Force having served as the Consultant to the AF Surgeon General for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Armstrong was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to the Kansas City area graduating from Shawnee Mission East and the University of Kansas. He met his future wife, Cathy, at KU and they were married before beginning dental school at UMKC. His daughter Meghan was born after graduation and then began his Air Force career at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. After completing his General Practice Residency, he served as a general dentist at Williams AFB, in Phoenix, Arizona where his son Chris was born.
Dr. Armstrong completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at David Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB, California, and then a fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville before being assigned to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center.
He has enjoyed returning close to home and family now living in Lawrence, Kansas.
